To present my prototype, I have done what I love to : a video. To give rhythm to all of this, I did a false ad of it ! The company name is “Hisee” (because with Hisee, I see … or something like this !).

Here it is, you can see very precisely the user exposure for deaf people :

Actually this device works either for deaf or blinded with few differences. A hat takes the information, they then can be highlighted thanks to AR glasses or audio. The collection of information can be almost similar thanks to a hat like mind presented on the seventh lecture.

In both cases, people around don’t have to notice it, and the device help the user to fit in.

  • User interface

For the user, it will simply add information on what he sees in the street. Here for instance, it can zoom in on something important.

It can also add information such as GPS or information like any AR glasses.

For blinded people, of course glasses are useless, here it will be the hat which will make sound. A bone conduction hearing can be used in order not to cut off the patient to his reality.
